Arrive in Uganda through Entebbe international airport. Transfer to your hotel and rest after your journey. Briefing by your tour guide about the upcoming trek.

Overnight stay in Kampala.

Depart Kampala and drive to Nyakalengija, the starting point for the trek. Meet with your guides and porters, complete any necessary paperwork. Begin the hike to Nyabitaba Camp.

Trek through lush forests and along the Mubuku River. Arrive at Nyabitaba Camp and settle in for the night.

Overnight stay at Nyabitaba Camp

After breakfast, continue the trek from Nyabitaba Camp. Pass through the Kurt Shafer Bridge and ascend steep terrain. Traverse bamboo forests and rocky landscapes. Reach John Matte Camp and rest for the night. Overnight stay at John Matte Camp.

Depart from John Matte Camp and hike towards Bujuku Camp. Trek through the Lower Bigo Bog, home to giant lobelias. Enjoy stunning views of Mount Baker and Mount Stanley. Arrive at Bujuku Camp and relax after the day’s hike.

Continue the trek from Bujuku Camp towards Elena Camp. Traverse challenging terrain and ascend steep slopes. Pass through the magical forest of Groundsel Gully. Arrive at Elena Camp and prepare for the summit attempt.

Begin the early morning ascent of Margherita Peak, the highest point of Mount Rwenzori.

Navigate glaciers, rocky terrain, and exposed areas. Reach the summit of Margherita Peak and enjoy breathtaking views. Descend back to Elena Camp and rest after the challenging climb. Overnight stay at Elena Camp.

Descend from Elena Camp back to Nyakalengija. Enjoy the last views of the Rwenzori Mountains as you descend. Arrive at Nyakalengija and celebrate the completion of the trek.

Transfer to your accommodation for a well-deserved rest.
