There are plenty of safari activities to explore while on Tanzania safaris, ranging from mountain climbing in Mount kilimanjaro to relaxing at some of the world’s most beautiful beaches in Zanzibar. The United Republic of Tanzania is situated on eastern Africa. Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa, stands as the national top point. Tanzania boasts some of the first known inhabited places on Earth. Fossils dating more than two million years have been unearthed at Olduvai Gorge. Eventually, Southern African hunters and gatherers linked to Khoisan replaced these prehistoric humans. Inspired by these first hunters and gatherers, 2,000 years ago tribes from West Africa started to travel and establish in the country.
