Safaris in Kenya

Safaris in Uganda

 

Uganda is a destination which has been described as the pearl of Africa with a variety of places to visit and many activities that are offered across the country, rich culture, hospitable people and good weather. Uganda is bordered by Kenya to the east, Tanzania, Rwanda to the south, South Sudan to the north, Democratic republic of Congo to the west.

Apart from gorilla trekking in Bwindi national park, Uganda also has parks where safaris can be carried out and these include Murchison falls national park, Kidepo valley national park, Queen Elizabeth national park, Lake Mburo national park, Mgahinga national park, Kibale national park among others. These national parks are found in different parts of Uganda including the west, north and eastern parts of the country.

Safaris in Rwanda

 

Rwanda is a country which is known for gorilla trekking which is done in Volcanoes national park. Apart from gorilla trekking, safaris can also be carried out in national parks like Nyungwe national park which is known for chimpanzee trekking and Akagera national park.

The country is also referred to as the land of a thousand hills and wildlife safaris in Rwanda are carried out in Akagera national park. A number of wildlife species can be seen during a safari in Akagera national park such as elephants, giraffes, antelopes, bushbucks, topi, antelopes, elands, waterbucks, impalas among others. There are also various bird species found in Akagera national park.
