Detailed Itinerary: 6 Days Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti Safari
Day 0. Arrival
Upon arrival at the Kilimanjaro International Airport, you shall be picked up by our Tanzania safari guide from Salt Holidays. He will transfer you to the lodge; check in and relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 1: Transfer, Ngorongoro Crater Drive
Drive Time: Approx. 4 hours
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge, feed the animals at Serval and thereafter proceed on a transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with your packed lunch. You will descend into the Ngorongoro crater for a game drive to view wildlife for the rest of the day and also enjoy the beautiful scenery around the crater area, where you will look out for various wildlife species such as wildebeests, elands, warthogs, zebras, buffalos, hippos, elephants, lions, hyenas, cheetahs, and leopards. Enjoy your packed lunch on the crater floor!
You will later be driven to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Ndutu Area, Game Drive
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast at the lodge and with your packed lunch, proceed for a game drive in the conservancy. Look out for various wildlife in the conservancy and enjoy your photography sessions at ease as you drive to the Ndutu area. Enjoy a game drive throughout, punctuated with a picnic lunch. Look out for the migrating herds of wildebeests and so many other grazers like zebras. Check in at the camp, and relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay at Ndutu Ngorongoro by Tanzania Bush Camp.
Day 3&4: Ndutu Wildebeest Calving Experience
You shall enjoy breakfast at the camp and get to explore the wildebeest-covered southern plains of Serengeti National Park in the Ndutu Area. Watch the wildebeest migration and have the chance to witness the calves being born, as well as predators lurking around! Lunch shall be enjoyed in the wilderness. Have early morning game drives and photography sessions as per preference. Dinner and an overnight stay as above.
Day 5: Optional Hot air balloon in Ndutu, Game Drive to Central Serengeti
Wake up early for a hot air balloon ride and watch the Serengeti Plains come to life. Look out for wild game, and take a chance to do amazing photography from up in the air. Get to experience a champagne bush breakfast. Thereafter, proceed to drive to Central Serengeti in the Seronera Area from the south, enjoying wild game viewing as you transfer to the central area. The Seronera River is known to inhabit a variety of wildlife as they come to get a drink or dip. Dinner and an overnight stay at Central Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camp.
Day 6: Departure
Wake up to a sumptuous breakfast at the camp. Thereafter, you will transfer to Seronera Airstrip, arriving in time for your flight to Zanzibar, bringing your safari to an end.
