The 6 days safari to Murchison Falls, Kibale, and Queen Elizabeth National Park safari is an amazing experience that will take you to Kibale Forest National Park, known as the primate capital; Murchison Falls National Park, the largest national park in Uganda; and Queen Elizabeth National Park.
During the 6 days Uganda wildlife safari, you will get an opportunity to spend time with the chimpanzees in their natural environment and also spot different animals like buffaloes, lions, leopards, elephants, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeest, hippos, Nile crocodiles, and warthogs, among others, during the game drives and boat cruise.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Murchison falls national park-Rhino tracking
Depending on your location, on the first day of the 6-day Murchison Falls, Kibale, and Queen Elizabeth safari, you will be welcomed by our driver guide, who will brief you about the safari and then start the journey to Murchison Falls National Park. On the way, you will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking and then proceed with another stopover for an en-route lunch.
After lunch, you will continue to Murchison falls national park and upon arrival, you will drive to the top of the falls, where you will be able to enjoy views of the waterfall, water splashes among others. From the top of the falls, you will connect to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
After an early breakfast on the second day of the 6-day Murchison falls, Kibale and Queen Elizabeth safari, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to go for a morning game drive in the park, where you will be able to view different animals like lions, leopards, hyenas, buffaloes, elephants, Uganda kobs, giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeest, waterbucks, bushbucks, oribi, and warthogs, among others. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will go for a scheduled boat cruise to the bottom of the falls, which takes about 2 to 3 hours. During the boat cruise, you will be able to view hippos in water, Nile crocodiles basking on the water banks, and buffaloes, elephants and antelopes drinking water along the shores, and spot aquatic birds, among others.
After the boat cruise, you will drive back to the lodge for an evening of relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Kibale forest national park
On the third day of the 6-day Murchison falls, Kibale and Queen Elizabeth safari, you will have a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kibale forest national park. On the way, you will enjoy stunning views of the scenery, landscape, Rwenzori peaks, and tea plantation and a stopover for en-route lunch.
After lunch, you will continue to Kibale forest national park and upon arrival, you will connect to your lodge for an evening of relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
After an early breakfast on the fourth day of the 6-day Murchison falls, Kibale and Queen Elizabeth safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kanyachu visitors Centre for a chimpanzee trekking briefing. After the briefing, you will be subdivided into groups of 6 people, where each group will be allocated a habituated chimpanzee family to trek and an experienced park guide.
Trekking of chimpanzees in Kibale forest national park takes about 30 minutes to 5 hours, depending on where the chimpanzees are located, because they like to move from one place to another in search of food.
During trekking you will be able to view other primate species, mammals, and bird species among others and once the chimpanzees are located, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in the habitat, which gives you an opportunity to watch them carry out their daily activities like feeding, playing, breastfeeding, resting, and hunting, and to take photos and record videos.
After spending one hour with the chimpanzees, you will meet your driver guide and return to the lodge for lunch, after which you will check out and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a journey that takes about 2 to 3 hours by car. Upon arrival, you will connect to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Morning game drive/lion tracking and afternoon boat cruise
After an early breakfast on the fifth day of the 6-day Murchison Falls, Kibale, and Queen Elizabeth safari, your driver-guide will pick you up from the lodge to go for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains, where you will be able to view lions, leopards, hyenas, buffaloes, elephants, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, bushbucks, and warthogs, among others. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will go for a scheduled boat cruise on Kazinga channel a water channel that connects Lake Edward and Lake George. During the boat cruise, which starts at around 2:00, you will be able to view hippos in water, Nile crocodiles basking on the banks, buffaloes, elephants and antelopes drinking water along the shores, and water birds, among others.

After the boat cruise, you will drive back to the lodge for an evening of relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Departure to Entebbe
On the last day of the 6-day Murchison falls, Kibale and Queen Elizabeth National Park safari, you will have breakfast at leisure, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to start the journey back to Kampala. On the way, you will have a stopover for an en-route lunch and another stopover at the Equator, where you will take photos and buy souvenirs.
After leaving the Equator, you will continue to Kampala, arriving in the early evening. Upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight or at any other location you specify.
