Detailed Itinerary
Day 1-2: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, transfer to Arusha
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport.
On arrival you will be met and transferred to your lodge, settling in after your flights.
Overnight: Rivertrees Country Inn (1 night)
Day 2-4: Lake Manyara National Park
Following breakfast, you’ll begin your exciting safari experience, departing for the Lake Manyara National Park. You’ll stop for a cultural visit at the traditional village of Mto wa Mbu with lunch, before enjoying a game drive in Lake Manyara. In the afternoon, you’ll drive into the Ngorongoro Highlands to your lodge, with time to freshen up before dinner.
Overnight: Entamanu Ngorongoro (2 nights)
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater
Today, you have a thrilling game drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. You’ll descend to the floor of the crater for a game drive, taking a picnic lunch with you. Spend up to 6 hours on a game drive, before returning to the crater rim and back to your camp.
Day 4-7: Serengeti National Park
Following breakfast, you’ll begin your journey to the Serengeti plains. Stop for a brief historical visit at Olduvai Gorge, with a picnic lunch, before continuing into the plains. You’ll enjoy a game drive en route to your camp.
Overnight: Nimali Central Serengeti (3 nights)
Day 5-6: Serengeti National Park
Spend two days enjoying daily game drives in this world-renowned wildlife area.
Day 7-8: Zanzibar
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airstrip and bid farewell to your guide, as you board a light aircraft flight to Zanzibar (via Arusha). You’ll be met on arrival and whisked away to your lovely beach hotel on the East Coast. Overnight: Breezes Beach Club & Spa (3 nights)
Day 8-9: Zanzibar
Spend two days at leisure.
Day 10: Return Home
Final day at leisure. Today, you will be transferred to the Zanzibar Airport in time for your onward flight arrangements. We hope you will be leaving Tanzania with some incredible memories and photos of your time here.
