Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick Up and Transfer Tarangire National Park.
We’ll pick you up from your hotel at 8 a.m. and take you to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is known for its iconic baobab trees and diverse wildlife, including Tanzania’s largest concentration of elephants. It provides an unforgettable safari experience. Before continuing to your accommodation, stop for a picnic lunch with breathtaking views of the river and wildlife.
Day 2 : Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, we head to Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive. Marvel at the lush acacia forest, diverse wildlife, and picturesque lake, which is home to flamingos and hippos. Optional activities, such as a bike tour or boat excursion, provide additional exploration opportunities. Return to the campsite for dinner.
Day 3 : Serengeti National Park
Experience the breathtaking Serengeti as we depart early for the world’s most famous national park. Witness the endless plains and abundant wildlife, including the famous Great Migration of wildebeests and zebras. Keep an eye out for lions, cheetahs, and other predators while exploring this iconic landscape.
Day 4–5: Serengeti National Park
Spend flexible days in the Serengeti, tailored to your preferences. Your guide will go over game drive and activity options with you, so you can make the most of your time in this extraordinary wilderness.
Day 6: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater.
Begin the day with an early morning game drive through the Serengeti, followed by brunch at the camp. Then, travel to the Ngorongoro Crater, also known as the “8th Wonder of the Natural World.” Explore the crater floor to see the diverse wildlife of this unique ecosystem, including the rare black rhino. Have a sundowner before retiring for the evening.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater.
Embark on an early morning descent into the crater for an unforgettable wildlife viewing adventure. After a picnic lunch near Hippo Lake, continue your adventure with a short game drive before ascending the crater and heading to Lake Eyasi.
Day 8 : Lake Eyasi and the Hadzabe
Awaken before sunrise for a unique encounter with the Hadzabe tribe, one of Africa’s last true nomadic groups. Join them in their daily activities, such as hunting with the men or gathering fruit with the women. This one-of-a-kind cultural experience will provide you with unforgettable memories. Visit Lake Eyasi before returning to Arusha to conclude your unforgettable Tanzania safari.
