During the 15 days Tanzania Wildlife Photography Safari , you will visit several national parks in Tanzania, including Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti, Lake Manyara, and Arusha.
You will also participate in activities such as game drives in the morning and afternoon, as well as at night, while visiting Tanzania. The 15-day Tanzania safari will commence and end in Arusha.
Day 1: pick up and drive to Arusha
Your guide will pick you up from the airport or your hotel in Arusha and welcome you to the safari. You will receive a briefing about the safari before driving to your hotel in Arusha, where you will spend the night at the Tulia boutique hotel and spa.
Day 2: Drive to Tarangire National Park.
You will have breakfast at your accommodation before driving to Tarangire National Park, which is likewise located in northern Tanzania. Tarangire National Park is famed for its vast elephant herds and ancient baobab trees.
You will go on a game drive in the national park, looking for animals such as gazelles, impalas, zebras, and waterbucks, among others, as well as the many bird species that the park is known for. You will enjoy viewing the sunset in the national park’s wildness before your guide drives you to Tarangire Roika Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Full day in Tarangire National Park.
Following breakfast at your lodge, you will depart for a morning game viewing excursion in Tarangire National Park. During your morning game drive across the national park, you’ll look for elephants, zebras, hartebeest, waterbucks, gazelles, oryx, and other wildlife.
In the afternoon, you will go on another game drive to explore the national park’s wilderness and look for more wildlife species while admiring the stunning surroundings. You will return to your lodge for dinner and stay overnight at Tarangire Roika.
Day 4: drive to Ngorongoro crater.
Breakfast will be served at your lodge as you prepare for your transfer to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will also make a halt at Ol Duvai Gorge. After lunch, you will descend into the crater to view Lake Magadi, which is located in its center. You will also look for elephants, rhinos, buffalos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, wildebeests, zebras, and flamingos around Lake Magadi’s shoreline. As you take in the stunning beauty of Ngorongoro, your guide will transport you to your lodge for dinner and sleep at Karatu tented resort.
Day 5: Drive to Serengeti National Park (Central)
After breakfast at your lodge, your guide will drive you to the Serengeti National Park, which is also in northern Tanzania. During your safari in the national park, you will have the opportunity to see the big five (elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, and buffalos).
Lunch will be served when you check into your national park lodge. You will also take part in an evening game to observe wildlife such as zebras, lions, buffalos, elephants, giraffes, elands, impalas, and antelopes, among others. Dinner and stay will be at the Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp.
Day 6 and 7: full day at Serengeti National Park.
Breakfast will be served at your accommodation in Serengeti National Park as you are ready for your morning wildlife drive. You will also appreciate witnessing a range of wildlife species that are particularly active in the morning and may be observed grazing throughout the national park.
After your morning game drive, you will have lunch and then go on another game drive to look for wildlife species such as elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, impalas, gazelles, buffalos, elands, antelopes, zebras, wildebeests, and hippos. You will eat dinner and stay overnight in the Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp.
Day 8: Drive to Western Serengeti.
After breakfast at the lodge, your guide will take you from the middle to western parts of the Serengeti National Park, where you will encounter game species and enjoy views of the vast plains. You will eat your lunch in the wild while experiencing more wildlife adventures in the Serengeti, and then your guide will transport you to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at the Mbalageti Serengeti resort.
Day 9 and 10: full day in western Serengeti.
Morning and afternoon game viewing excursions will take you into the western portion of Serengeti National Park in search of animal species such as wildebeests, elephants, lions, leopards, zebras, impalas, waterbucks, and many others. Depending on the time of your safari, you may be able to view the wildebeest migration in this spot. Your dinner and overnight stay at the Mbalageti Serengeti Lodge.
Day 11: Drive to Lake Manyara National Park.
Breakfast will be delivered to you, and then your guide will transport you to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara National Area is well-known for its tree-climbing lions, and another notable characteristic is that water covers almost two-thirds of the area. During your safari in the national park, you will also get to see the Rift Valley Escarpment.
After checking into your lodge at Lake Manyara National Park, you will eat lunch and then go on a game drive in search of animals such as giraffes, elephants, impalas, and hippos, among others. You will have dinner and spend the night at Twiga Lodge.
Day 12: canopy walk and game drives.
You will have breakfast at your lodge before embarking on a thrilling canopy walk around Lake Manyara National Park. You’ll walk along the suspension bridge, which is roughly 18 meters above the ground, taking in the stunning views of the national park.
After lunch, you will go on a game drive to learn more about Lake Manyara National Park and its attractions, then return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Twiga Lodge.
Day 13: morning and night game drives.
After breakfast, you will go on a morning wildlife drive in search of Lake Manyara National Park’s famous tree climbing lions. You will also tour the savannah grasslands, seeking out animals such as elephants and others. You will eat lunch before continuing on a game drive to witness more wildlife. You will return to your accommodation to freshen yourself before embarking on a night game drive to observe nocturnal animal species. Twiga Lodge will host your dinner and overnight stay.
Day 14: Drive to Arusha National Park.
Following breakfast at your resort, your guide will drive you to Arusha. You will check into your accommodation as you prepare for a game viewing adventure in Arusha National Park, where you will observe waterfalls and possibly glimpse some animal and bird species as you go about the park.
After the tour of Arusha National Park, you will return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay at Tulia Boutique Hotel And Spa.
Day 15: Departure
Your breakfast will be served at your hotel in Arusha as you prepare to go to the airport, where your safari will come to an end.
