3 Days Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari
Detailed itinerary.
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
Depending on your location on the first day of the three-day Queen Elizabeth National Park safari, our driving guide will pick you up from the hotel, guide you about the safari, and then drive you to the park. On the way, you will stop at the Equator to snap photographs and buy souvenirs before continuing on to another stop for lunch. After lunch, you will go to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you will embark on an evening game drive to see animals like as buffaloes, elephants, Uganda kobs, and waterbucks, among others, before returning to the lodge for dinner and slumber.
Accommodation and meals: Elephant Hub Lodge (midrange) or Queen Elizabeth Safari Lodge (affordable).
Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
After an early breakfast on the second day of your three-day Queen Elizabeth National Park safari, you will meet with your driver for a morning game drive that begins extremely early in the morning to see the early risers. During a game drive across the Kasenyi plains, you will be able to see elephants, lions, buffaloes, waterbucks, bushbucks, warthogs, bird species, and capture magnificent shots of the scenery and dawn, among other things. After the wildlife drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will embark on an exhilarating boat tour around the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. The scheduled boat cruise lasts about 2 to 3 hours and allows you to take clear photos, cruise meters away from large concentrations of hippos and Nile crocodiles in the water, and see other animals such as elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes drinking water along the banks, aquatic bird species, and fishermen on the lake shores preparing their fishing gear for night fishing, among other things. After the wonderful boat trip, you will go to the lodge for dinner and slumber, as described previously.
Day 3: Depart to Kampala
On the last day of the three-day Queen Elizabeth National Park safari, you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet your driver guide to begin your journey back to Kampala, stopping for lunch along the way. Upon arrival, your driving guide will drop you off at any location advised.
