Day 1: Pick up in Kigali and transfer to Volcanoes National Park—Iby’iwacu Village Tour. (About a 3-hour trip)

Our representative will greet you at Kigali International Airport or pick you up from your accommodation in Kigali for a quick tour of the city, including a stop at the local market and the Genocide Memorial Site. Later, proceed to Volcanoes National Park for a cultural visit of Ibyi’wacu Village, which is close to close to close to the national park. Experience the captivating dance and singing performances by the local indigenous dance team. Later, drive to a hotel for dinner and slumber at Five Volcanoes Boutique ResortResortResortResort (Luxury), Da Vinci Lodge (Midrange), or Muhabura Hotel (Budget).

Day 2: Gorilla Trek with Optional Visit to Dian Fossey Centre in Karisoke.

You will get up early to eat breakfast before going to the park headquarters for a normal gorilla tracking briefing. You will then be assigned a gorilla family to track. Your gorilla tour starts when you enter the forest on a gorilla route; meeting the gorillas often takes 2 to 8 hours, depending on the gorillas’ mobility.

After your gorilla hike, pack a lunch and return to your accommodation to replenish and unwind. You have the option to visit the Dian Fossey Centre in Karisoke later in the afternoon, where you can take a tour of the Dian Fossey exhibit and learn more about her contributions to mountain gorilla conservation. Five Volcanoes Boutique Lodge (luxury), Da Vinci Lodge (mid-range), and Muhabura Hotel (budget).

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park, optional Bigodi Swamp Walk (about 6-7 hour drive).

Breakfast in the morning, then check out of your accommodation. Meet your driver guide and take a 6-7 hour trip to Kibale National Park in western Uganda. Enjoy the stunning green countryside as you travel through Uganda’s Kigezi area, stopping for photographs and lunch on the way to the park. You will go to the Amabere Caves near Kibale Forest National Park. The caverns have a rich cultural heritage.

When you arrive at your lodge, you may relax and prepare for your chimp trek, which is scheduled for the next day. Alternatively, you may take an alternative guided nature walk to Bigodi Swamp, where you can see a variety of bird species such as the prehistoric Shoebill stork, Abyssinian ground thrush, blueblueblue-headed sunbird, and duskyduskyduskydusky crimsonwingcrimsonwingcrimsonwingcrimsonwing, among others. Dinner and overnight stay at Chimpundu Lodge (luxury), Turaco Treetop Lodge (middle-range), or Chimpanzee Guesthouse (budget).

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trek and Top of the World Hike.

After an early breakfast, meet your driver guide and go to the park headquarters for a lecture on the laws and regulations of chimpanzee chimpanzee chimpanzee chimpanzee trekking. The briefing will be followed by a 30- to 4-hour jungle hike, depending on the chimps’ location.

During your trip, you will see other primates, as well as several bird species. Once you discover the chimp family, you will have an hour to spend with them, observing their daily routines, learning about their behaviours, taking photographs, and recording the moments.

After your face-to-face meetings with the chimps, you will return to the park headquarters, where you will meet your driver guide and travel back to your lodge for a hearty lunch before continuing on to your afternoon climb to Top of the World. Enjoy trekking past local settlements and tea plantations as you ascend the hill for panoramic views of the crater lakes and the Rwenzori Mountains. This walk might take 3-4 hours, depending on your speed. Chimpundu Lodge (luxury), Turaco Treetop Lodge (middle-range), and Chimpanzee Guesthouse (budget).
Dinner and overnight stay are the same as the prior night.

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and afternoon boat cruise (about two-hour drive)

Breakfast at your accommodation, then meet with your driving guide. You will drive for roughly two hours to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon arrival in Queen Elizabeth National Park, take a wildlife drive before heading to your lodge for lunch. Keep an eye out for wildlife species such as lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, and many more.

After lunch, you will go on an afternoon boat trip along the Kazinga Channel, where you will have the opportunity to witness animals such as elephants, hippos, and crocodiles. The boat excursion also provides an opportunity to witness bird species such as the African Skimmer, Black-headed Gonolek, Double-toothed Barbet, and Red-chested Sunbird, among others. The park is home to over 645 bird species, making it a sanctuary for birdwatchers.

Dinner and overnight stay at Elephant Plains (luxury), Elephant Hub (midrange), and Pumba Safari Cottages (budget).

Day 6: Game drive in Ishasha, then transfer to Entebbe.

Wake up in the morning and eat your breakfast. After checking out of your lodge, you will go on a wildlife drive through Ishasha, where you will get the opportunity to witness the park’s famed tree-climbing lions. Aside from lions, you may look for leopards, hyenas, reedbucks, elephants, buffaloes, and many more animals.

You will then travel for 5-6 hours to Entebbe, with a stop at Kayabwe’s equator monuments to browse adjacent artisan stores and enjoy lunch. Continue on your trip to Entebbe, where your driver guide will drop you off at your accommodation.

Day 7: Morning Flight to Masai Mara—Evening Game Drive.

After breakfast, go to Entebbe airport for your further trip to Masai Mara. Aerolink Uganda conducts daily flights between Entebbe and Masai Mara. The flight to Masai Mara departs Entebbe Airport at 12:15 and arrives at 14:30 hours. When you arrive at one of the designated airstrips in Masai Mara, your Kenya safari guide will meet you and transport you to your booked resort for late lunch.

Later in the evening, connect for an evening game drive, which is a fantastic game-watching experience in which you will see predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs as they hunt in the dark of night using a spotlight. In the evening, you will return to your lodge, check in, and stay overnight. Transfer to your reserved lodge for leisure, dinner, and overnight stay at Sentrim Lodges for Budget, Sekenani Tented Camp (Midrange), or Mara Serena (Luxury).

Day 8: Full-day Game Drive in Masai Mara.

Wake up early in the morning, eat breakfast, and grab your packed lunch before meeting your safari driver to head to the plains of Maasai Mara for a full-day adventure in this stunning savannah vegetation as you watch many animals in large numbers, including lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, wildebeests, zebras, and many more. You will have your picnic lunch before heading out on a game drive till the sun goes down. In the evening, you will return to your lodge, have dinner, and spend the night there, either at Sentrim Lodges for Budget, Sekenani Tented Camp (Midrange), or Mara Serena (Luxury).

Day 9: Visit Masai Bomas before continuing on to Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park.

You will enjoy an early breakfast and check out of the resort before leaving for Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park. You will make a stop at the Masai Bomas for a cultural tour, where you will see manyattas (traditional homes), craft shops, traditional dance performances, and engage with the friendly inhabitants.

Continue your transfer to Serengeti National Park, stopping for lunch en route. You will clear immigration at the Isebania border, where our Tanzania agent will be waiting for you. After a brief meeting with your driver guide, proceed to the Serengeti. Once inside the park, you will embark on a wildlife drive that could last up to two hours, during which you will explore the Serengeti plains. The Serengeti provides abundant opportunities to observe the Big Five species. Dinner and stay at Serengeti Serena Lodge (luxury), Central Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camp (mid-range), and Tukawone Serengeti Camp (budget).

Day 10 and 11: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti.

Have an early breakfast, park your lunch, and embark on a full-day wildlife drive. We will begin in the extreme north near the Mara River. If you arrived in the opposite month when the migration would begin from the Serengeti after missing it from the Mara Kenya side, here is your chance to experience it to the fullest. Spend the entire day hunting for wildlife such as hippos, elephants, buffalos, giraffes, lions, hyenas, cheetahs, antelopes, hartebeests, and zebras, to name just a few. Return to the lodge for dinner, and spend the night at the lodge above.

Day 12: Transfer to Ngorongoro, where you will visit Olduvai Gorge and have a nature walk around the Crater Rim. (About a three- to four-hour drive)

After breakfast, check out of your lodge/camp and travel for 3-4 hours to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping for lunch on the way. the way. the way. Upon arrival in Ngorongoro, you will first check into your lodge/camp. After you’ve settled in and refreshed, you’ll head out with your driving guide to Ol Duvai Gorge, an archaeological site where Dr. Mary and Louis Leakey discovered evidence of early man related to human evolution.

We will provide your lunch before you embark on a guided nature walk along the crater rim to explore several sites, including Lake Magadi, located in the center of the crater. As you visit the Ngorongoro Crater, you will notice a large number of flamingos along Lake Magadi’s shoreline, as well as other bird species.

The crater is home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, buffalos, rhinos, zebras, waterbucks, antelopes, hyenas, gazelles, and kudus, as well as predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs. As you visit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will also be treated to stunning vistas of the surrounding landscape.

Later travel to your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay at Eileen’s Tree (Budget), Hhando Coffee Lodge (Midrange), or Ngorongoro Serena Lodge (Luxury).

Day 13: Crater Game Drive with Optional Masai Bomas Visit.

Wake up in the morning and have a delicious breakfast at your lodge/camp. You will then bring your packed lunch from your lodge/camp to meet with your driving guide. You will go on a full-day wildlife drive into the Ngorongoro crater, 600 meters deep. It is well-known as one of the world’s largest volcanic calderas, and it is home to over 1 million animals, including all of the big five and a rare black rhino. Other creatures include lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, buffalosbuffalos, giraffes, and zebras. If you want to enjoy a cultural experience after your car drive, you may stop at the Masai Bomas.

Later travel to your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay at Eileen’s Tree (Budget), Hhando Coffee Lodge (Midrange), or Ngorongoro Serena Lodge (Luxury).

Day 14: Transfer to Arusha and depart.

Airport,Airport, After breakfast, check out of the lodge and begin your drive to Arusha. The trip back to Arusha takes 3-4 hours, including a drop-off at Arusha Airport, where you will join your aircraft home.
