7 Days Manyara Serengeti Ngorongoro & Tarangire Safari
7 Days Manyara Serengeti Ngorongoro & Tarangire Safari is one of the best Tanzania safari packages that suits nature lovers who want to have a feel of true African wildlife.
This safari lets you explore some of the prominent national parks, including Lake Manyara national park , Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire National Park
Day 1 – Transfer from Arusha to Lake Manyara national park
Our driver guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and brief you about your upcoming safari before transferring to Lake Manyara National Park. After briefing, we start our drive to the northern circuit of Tanzania, passing through the foot of the Great Rift Valley.
The drive takes less than 5 hours on good tarmac roads through different villages and small Maasai towns. We have brief stops at the local craft shops if interested as we continue to our lodge around the park. After lunch we go for an evening game drive at the park to search for both birds and animals like tree-climbing lions, leopards, giraffes, baboons, topis, and hippos, among others. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge
Day 2 – Lake Manyara National Park – Serengeti Plains
After breakfast you will transfer to the Serengeti National Park, the second park of our safari. We will pass through the beautiful high-lying farmlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and have a brief stop at the crater viewing point before we continue with our drive. The drive is more scenic with a lot of animals to enjoy on our way to Serengeti National Park.
You will then proceed to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, inhabiting animals like lions, leopards, buffalos, giraffes, kobs, gazelles, impalas, elephants, rhinos, hyenas and others. After our game drive we drive to the camp for our relaxing, refreshing evening as we wait for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 – Full day at the Serengeti Plains
The most awaited day of the Tanzania safari, conquering all the best wildlife experiences in Africa. It’s known as the seven natural wonders of Africa, hosting the largest annual migration of wildlife on planet earth. Depending on the timing of your visit, we follow the trend of the wildebeest migration and enjoy the vast wildlife experience in the Serengeti. Other games include the African big 5, hyenas, kobs, dik-diks, oribis, jackals, warthogs and many more. Return back to our camp for dinner and local entertainment.
Day 4 – Transfer from the Serengeti Plains to the Ngorongoro crater
After an early breakfast at the lodge, we shall transfer to the Ngorongoro Conservation area. We will have an optional stopover at Olduvai Gorge. After continuing to Ngorongoro Crater, which we will arrive at at lunchtime, we will open our lunch boxes before we descend down to the crater.
After lunch we will descend over 550 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, the natural wonder of Africa, which is a key highlight of our safari to view wildlife for the rest of the day. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, eland, warthog, zebra, buffalo, hippo, and giant African elephants; lions; hyenas; jackals; cheetahs; and leopards.

We shall then visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds are usually found here. Dinner and overnight
Day 5 – Ngorongoro Crater – Tarangire National Park
Day 5 of the safari starts with your breakfast before we shall transfer to the Tarangire National Park. The park stretches along the banks of the River Tarangire, mostly composed of low-lying hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. The park’s natural vegetation is majorly composed of acacia woodlands and giant baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the southern sections. Both the river and the swamps attract wildlife, especially during Tanzania’s dry season.
The park is undisputedly known to have some of the largest herds of elephants, greater kudu, and fringed-eared oryx, as well as a few ashy starlings. After your morning game drive, you will have a picnic lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive. You will later retire to your lodge for relaxation and rest.
Dinner and overnight
Day 6: Full day Tarangire
More game drives in Tarangire National Park, the park which is probably the best place ever in all of Africa to see patchy dermis. We will have a full-day exploration of Tarangire National Park with both morning and evening game drives. The park is most popular for its habitant, the large herds of elephant population.
The animals also concentrate much around the river and this is the area of the tree-climbing pythons. Other game to view includes zebras, hartebeest, elephants, waterbucks, gazelles, Oryx and others. Birders also enjoy wide range of bird species. Dinner and an overnight stay as above
