Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Amboseli National Park.
Your Kenya safari guide will take you up from your accommodation in Nairobi. He will brief you about the trip before departing for Amboseli National Park. Arrive at Amboseli National Park and enjoy wildlife viewing on the way to your campsite. After lunch, rest until 16:00hrs, when it’s time for afternoon game watching, which lasts until 18:00hrs and includes the opportunity to see lions, elephants, buffaloes, monkeys, and other creatures. On a clear day, marvel at the vistas from Kilimanjaro Mountain. Sentrim Amboseli Camp offers dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Game drive through Amboseli National Park, preceding a guided walking safari.
Spend the entire day at Amboseli National Park, beginning with a morning wildlife drive. This park is known as an animal’s paradise. Enjoy a late afternoon guided walking safari in the park, where you can get up close to nature and wildlife. Return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay, as described previously.
Day 3: Transfer to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
After breakfast, travel from Amboseli National Park to Masai Mara Game Reserve via the Great Rift Valley, passing by Mount Longonot, a newly erupted volcano. You will have lunch on route and then head to the reserve. Enjoy wild animal watching as you make your way to your campsite. Check in to Sentrim Mara Camp, relax while waiting for dinner, and spend the night there.
Day 4: Game drives in Masai Mara, Maasai Cultural Experience.
After breakfast at the lodge, go on a morning game drive in the Masai Mara to observe the park’s wildlife, including the big five. Look for a variety of birds in Masai Mara, as well as the park’s stunning terrain. Enjoy your lunch in the woods before heading out for another wildlife drive in the Masai Mara. Return to the lodge for supper and overnight stay, as described previously.
Day 5: Morning Flight to Entebbe, Transfer to Kibale National Park
Your guide will transport you from your resort to Masai Mara’s airfield for your journey to Entebbe. When you arrive at Entebbe International Airport, your guide will pick you up and provide a briefing. After the briefing, you will be transferred to Kibale National Park, which is a 5-6 hour journey with a late lunch stop on way.
You will go to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Chimpanzee Forest Guest House
Day 6: Chimpanzee Trekking Experience, Bigodi Swamp Walk
After an early morning breakfast at the resort, head to Kibale forest for your chimp habituation adventure, bringing snacks and drinks. You will first go to the park headquarters for a briefing before heading into the forest for the activity. This is a 2-5 hour adventure, so expect to encounter chimps, monkeys, forest elephants, buffaloes, bush pigs, duikers, warthogs, reptiles, and a colourful array of butterflies. When you discover the chimps, you will be permitted to spend an hour with them.
In the late afternoon, you’ll go for a Bigodi swamp tour, which will allow you to see a variety of birds.
Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, as described previously.
Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast at the lodge, proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which is noted for its endangered mountain gorilla population. Enjoy lunch on the way. Connect to your resort for leisure, supper, and overnight stay in Buhoma Haven resort.
Day 8: Gorilla Trekking Experience.
After breakfast, go to the park headquarters for a briefing on mountain gorilla trekking by a local guide. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi takes between 2 and 8 hours, depending on the movement of the gorillas. Meeting gorillas suddenly is one of life’s most intriguing events. You will be able to watch and photograph at extremely close range. You’ll see adults eating and grumbling among themselves. It is indeed a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
After an hour with the long-awaited gorillas, your guide and rangers will return you to the starting point, where your driver will be waiting to take you back to the lodge. Depending on the time you return from the trekking activity, you may participate in an extra community tour, such as Ride 4 a Woman or Batwa. Have dinner and an overnight stay as described above.
Day 9: Transfer to Entebbe, Fly to JRO Tanzania
Drive time from Bwindi to Entebbe: 8-9 hours. Flight Option Available
After an early breakfast, transport to Entebbe International Airport, stopping for lunch along the way. You will arrive in time for your trip to Tanzania. (Book a late evening flight departing at 8pm or later.)
When you arrive in Tanzania, your Tanzania safari guide will be waiting to pick you up and transport you to the lodge. Check in, enjoy dinner and spend the night at Masai Land Safari Lodge.
Day 10: Transfer to Serengeti National Park.
Drive Time: 7 hours. Flight option available
You will eat an early breakfast at the lodge before departing for the Serengeti National Park with a packed lunch. You will have en route wildlife watching as you travel to the park, passing via several Tanzanian settlements and the stunning Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Proceed to the resort for supper, and stay overnight at Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camp.
Day 11: Full day in Serengeti National Park.
After breakfast at your lodge, your guide will take you on a morning game viewing excursion through the vast savannah plains of Serengeti National Park, where you will look for wildlife species such as the big five, wildebeests, hippos, elands, impalas, kudu, waterbucks, zebras, gazelles, giraffes, and predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, among others.
After your morning game drive, you will have lunch and then go on another game drive in the national park to look for different animal species. Your guide will then bring you to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Serengeti Tanzania Bush Camp.
Day 12: Drive to Ngorongoro crater area, Crater Drive
After an early breakfast, you will check out of your accommodation and continue your wildlife viewing adventure at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will have lunch before descending to the Ngorongoro Crater (the world’s biggest dormant caldera) for a wildlife watching excursion.
The crater is home to a variety of animal species, including wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, elands, warthogs, hippos, and elephants. Predators include lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals, and cheetahs, among others. You will also visit Lake Magadi, where you may witness hippos and various bird species. After this adventure, you will return to your lodge for dinner and stay overnight at Hhando Coffee Lodge.
Day 13: Drive to Arusha; fly to Zanzibar.
Early breakfast at the lodge, then transport to Arusha Airport in time for your departure to Zanzibar. Your guide in Zanzibar will be waiting for you at the airport. Check in, relax while you wait for dinner, then spend the night at Nungwi Dreams Hotel by Mantis.
Day 14: Stone Town, Spice Tour, and Visit Prison Island.

After breakfast at your hotel, take a spice tour of Zanzibar Island, also known as the spice island, where spices like cloves, nutmeg, vanilla, and cinnamon, as well as fruits like coconuts, are produced.
You will also visit Prison Island on your Zanzibar vacation, where you will see enormous tortoises. After this excursion, you will return to your hotel for supper and stay, as described above.
Day 15: Zanzibar Beach Stay
Today, you will spend the day at the beach. Relax, sunbathe, walk along the lovely white sand beach, or simply lay in the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel listed above.
Day 16: Departure.
