Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival to Uganda
Arrive at Entebbe International Airport then transfer to your hotel, we may bird around Entebbe area like the botanical gardens and Entebbe suburbs over night at the lodge
Day 2 – Entebbe to Lake Mburo Via Mabamba Swamp
Leave Entebbe early in the morning for Mabamba swamp birding enroute, we may have a chance to see a variety of weavers on the way, Black headed Oriole, Black Bishop, and many others. In Mabamba swamp, we shall take a hand paddled canoe in search for the majestic Shoebill; here we may have a chance to see a variety of water birds like the Purple swampen, Black Crake, Purple and Squacco Herons, Malachite King fisher, to mention but a few. After the swamp we transfer to Lake Mburo lunch and birding enroute, arrive for an evening game drive as you enter the park overnight at
Day 3 – Morning birding and afternoon Boat cruise
Morning birding and mammal watching, here we may have a chance to see the Red-faced Barbet, Tabora Cisticola, Red-headed Lovebird, Cocqui Francolin, Rufous Bellied Heron, Bare-faced Go-away bird to mention but a few, here we shall also have the chance to see the Zebra, Eland, Topis, Impalas and some others game, afternoon we shall go for a boat ride in search for the African Finfoot here we may have a chance to see the Giant Kingfisher, Rufous bellied Heron and a variety of other water birds. Overnight at
Day 4 – Lake Mburo to Bwindi
Transfer to Ruhija, Bwindi National park enroute birding the Bamboo in search for the Handsome Francolin White-starred Robin, Red- throated Alethe, Grauer’s Warbler, Dusky Crimson wing and many other birds overnight
After an early breakfast we will trek to Mubwindi Swamp where we may have a chance to see the African Green-broadbill, Grauer’s Rush Warbler, Caruthers’s Cisticola, Purple-breasted, Blue-headed and Regal Sunbirds. In the late afternoon we bird around the camp for Dusky Twinspot, Luhder’s Bushshrike, RwenzoriBatis to mention but a few. Later we drive to Buhoma sector for dinner and overnight at etur adipiscing elit. Ut elit tellus, luctus nec ullamcorper mattis, pulvinar dapibus leo.
Morning Gorilla tracking, have an early breakfast and drive to the park headquarters for briefing. After enter in to the juggle to look for the giant Gorillas. The tracking takes between 4 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the Gorillas. Upon meeting the gorillas you will spend 1 hour with them before we come back to the park headquarters. In the evening go for the birding.
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP via Ishasha sector of the park for a game drive in search for tree Climbing Lions and birding for Broad-tailed Warbler, a variety of raptors .
Morning game drive in search for Elephants, Lions, Hyena, Leopard, Uganda Kobs and a variety of Savanna birds like the Temminck’s Courser, Senegal Lap wing, Black-crowned Lapwing, African Crake, common Button quail, Blue Quail e.t.c there also chances of the secretary bird here, afternoon go for a cruise on Kazinga channel where we may have a chance to see a variety of water birds, African Immigrants, Hippos, Crocodiles, cape Buffalos, Elephants to mention but a few overnight
Drive to Fort portal birding enroute, afternoon we may bird the Crater area for Little Grebe, Great Crested Grebe, Giant Kingfisher, Yellow bellied Waxbill to mention but a few proceed to Kibale forest national park. Dinner and overnight
Wake up very early and walk to the forest insearch for the green-breasted pitta: After an early encounter, get back to the lodge for morning breakfast, we walk to Kibaale NP reported to be home to the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in the world. Thirteen (13) different species have been identified here. We go for Chimp tracking, where we may have a chance to see a variety of other primates e.g. the Grey-cheeked Mangabeys, Vervet, L’Hoerst and Red tailed Monkeys, Olive Baboons, Red, Black and white Colobus Monkeys, here we have a chance to bird the Forest in search for the green-breasted Pitta, Western bronze-napped Pigeon, Many-colored Bush shrike, to mention but a few. Afternoon Swamp walks in Bigodi wetland for the Papyrus endemics and a variety of primate’s overnight
Transfer to Semliki birding enroute, we go for the boat Ride in Lake Albert in search for the shoebill then later go for birding in the forest and bird the Sempaya hot spring trail where we may have a chance to see Red billed Dwarf, White crested, Black Wattled, Piping and white thighed hornbills, Olive Pigeon, Black-headed and Red-collared Love birds, Purple-headed Glossy-Starling, Palm swamp Bulbul, Leaf love, Grant’s Bluebill and wildlife like the elephant, eland sitatunga , Kudu antelopes – the world’s largest antelope -others overnight
Transfer to Murchison Falls national park birding enroute in Masindi Royale Miles where we have a chance to see Luhder’s, many coloured Bush shrikes, Cassin’s grey flycatcher, African Black duck, White napped and Afep Pigeons, white-headed Cuckoo, Joyful Greenbul and many others overnight

Morning game drive in search for different Animals we are likely to see include: the Lion, Leopards, Giraffes, Oribis, Hartebeests, Elephants, to mention but a few. Bird here include: the Carmine bee Eaters, Abyssinian ground Hornbills and many others. Afternoon boat ride to the bottom of the fall—a magical trip through a beautiful scenery; The whole of the 50 meters wide Nile River is forced into a gap only 7 meters wide – the immense force of the water and the views of the falls are awe inspiring. Here we may have a chance to Variety water birds, schools of Hippos and Crocodiles
Drive out of the park, with a stop at the top of the falls and proceed to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary. Do Rhino tracking then later proceed to Entebbe for your late flight
